The following texts will be used in this course:

Requirements

Grades will be determined by two examinations -- one mid-session exam and a final exam. The exams will consist of essay and short answer questions. The midterm will be worth 1/3 and the final 2/3 of the course grade.

The Midterm will be a take home exam handed out at the end of class on Thursday, July 16. The exam will be due back at the beginning of class on Tuesday, July 21.

The Final Exam is scheduled for Saturday, August 1st from 7:00PM to 9:59PM. (The exam will be 2 hours during this block).

The final exam will be closed-book closed-note -- no computers, PDAs, or cell phones allowed.
